Entrepreneurial marketing isnt just abt marketing any form of product or service found in the today's market. the word 'entrepreneurial' pushed the entire project to 5 notches tougher. we started out by having crazy ideas from importing and exporting products to developing countries to promoting organic food to some handphone accessory that flashes whenever there is an incoming call or message. though these ideas may sound dull and seemingly difficult to promote them on a large scale, we really had no outofthisworld ideas, something which we can assimilate and associate ourselves with at the same time. Not long after, Weihan came up with this 'fastfruit' concept, and since we are nice and he was adamant and convincing abt the entire concept, we decided to give it a try. Afterall, we had no time to procrastinate and brainstorm abt the other ideas.
i should say it's not too bad an idea. afterall, our society are becoming more health-conscious, now that everyone is crazy with brawns or a slim figure for the ladies. why fastfruit? the word 'fast' is used to attract working professionals who are always on the go, those who can't afford the time to wait for the food. fastfruit allows one to purchase a healthy set of meal consisting of a main dish, 2 side dishes and a drink. the challenge for us definitely lies in the mindset these Singaporeans have towards the definition of a staple food. for me (Khairiah), staple food is either rice or noodles, well, at least something filling. of course, there will always be cynics and skeptics about this idea of accepting fruits and vegetables as staple foods, but oh well, we hope the upcoming pilot test and surveys will boost our confidence in promoting this concept to the public.
